Editorial desk

What this desk can answer, and what it cannot

Candle Notes PK is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. This page says who answers mail, what is worth writing about, and what happens to a correction.

The desk and what it measures

The desk publishes one measurement, taken from named public sources and republished with the date it was read. Each chart is a real stretch of the gold price history in which the written rule found the pattern; markers show the candles or lines the definition uses. The sources are named under every chart, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher.

Responsibility sits with the publication's editorial desk: Candle Notes PK research desk. The desk reads the sources on a schedule, keeps the captures dated, and answers a correction when one is sent. It does not give investment advice, recommend a market, or offer to manage money. Nothing on the site is a recommendation or an offer; the figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do.

What is worth writing about

A figure that looks wrong is worth writing about. A source that has moved or closed is worth writing about, because the link under a chart then fails and the figure loses its checkable base. A question about how the measurement is taken is worth writing about, if the answer would change how a reader uses the chart. A correction is worth writing about, and it is the reason the address exists.

Write when the source link no longer opens the page it once opened. Write when a marker on a chart does not sit where the written rule says it should sit. The desk reads the mail, checks the point against the source, and answers.

What happens to a correction

A correction is dated. When a figure is wrong, the desk corrects it and adds the date of the correction, so a reader can see what changed and when. The correction is not hidden; it sits with the chart it belongs to. A reader who wrote in is told what the desk found, and what was changed, if anything was changed.

The desk does not promise to change a figure on demand. It checks the source, and if the source says something different from the published row, the row is corrected. If the source is silent or the figure matches, the desk says so. A correction is not a score, not a favour, and not a dispute about whether a market moved later. It is a fix to the record the site republishes.

What this desk cannot answer

This desk cannot answer personal investment questions. It will not say whether a reader should buy, sell, or hold anything. It will not help with a broker's account, a login, a deposit, or a withdrawal. It will not pass a tip to a broker, and it will not rate a platform as good or bad. A tip sent to the address is read and discarded; the desk does not trade on tips or forward them.

The desk cannot see a reader's own bank, wallet, or broker account. It cannot say why a payment failed or why a withdrawal is late. It has no access to any account, no login, and no client relationship. For those questions, the reader should write to the broker or the payment provider. The desk answers only what its own pages publish.

How the site is funded

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. The commission does not change the figures on the site; the figures are taken from public sources before the link is considered.

This funding is stated plainly so a reader can weigh it. The desk's one measurement is independent of the affiliate relationship. The sources are public, and the method is fixed. The desk does not rate FxPro, does not recommend it, and does not say it is safe or suichart for any reader. The link is an outbound link; following it leaves this site and enters the broker's own pages, under its own terms.

Privacy and what the site collects

The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. Writing to the address on this page sends an email to the desk; the desk reads it and answers, but it does not keep a list of readers or build a profile.

The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and following the link leaves this site.
