What this site is and what it measures

Candle Notes PK is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. Its subject is one measurement, taken from named public sources and republished with the date it was read. Each chart is a real stretch of the gold price history in which the written rule found the pattern; markers show the candles or lines the definition uses.

The sources are named under every chart, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. Responsibility sits with the publication's editorial desk: the Candle Notes PK research desk. The desk reads the sources, checks the figures, and answers corrections. No person is named as author; the desk is the author, and it states what it does.

The figures are measurements, not findings

Each figure on this site is a measurement of a published source. The limits of the source remain the limits of the desk's figure. If the source publishes a correction, the desk will correct its own chart and date the correction.

A reader who needs a figure for a decision should check the source directly. The desk cannot promise that a source stays unchanged after the desk reads it. The desk does not add its own judgement to the measurement.

The affiliate relationship and how the site is paid

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is stated plainly, in its own paragraph, on the page about the publisher and on the page about terms.

The affiliate relationship does not change the measurement. The desk measures the same way whether or not the reader clicks the link. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and following the link leaves this site.

What the desk cannot do and how to write to it

Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. The reader decides alone and is responsible for their own decision. The desk cannot answer questions about what a reader should do with their money.

Writing to editor@candlenotespk.pages.dev reaches the desk. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them.
