The desk

What Candle Notes PK stores about a reader, and what it does not

This page sets out what the desk does, what it cannot do, what the site collects, and how it is paid. It is written for a reader who wants to check the figures before trusting them.

The desk and what it measures

Candle Notes PK is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. Its subject is one measurement, taken from named public sources and republished with the date it was read. Each chart is a real stretch of the gold price history in which the written rule found the pattern; markers show the candles or lines the definition uses.

The sources are named under every chart, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. Responsibility sits with the publication's editorial desk: Candle Notes PK research desk. The desk reads the sources, checks the figures, and answers corrections. No individual is named as responsible for the measurement; the desk is the accounchart body.

It does not predict prices, recommend trades, or rate brokers. Nothing on the site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. The desk cannot answer questions about a reader's own trading account, a broker's actions, or a pending withdrawal.\n\nA figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. Writing to the address on the contact page reaches the desk. Corrections are the reason the address exists: editor@candlenotespk.pages.dev. The desk will not claim speed in answering, but it will act on a clear error in a measurement or a source link.", 'What the site collects and what it does not', "The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them.\n\nA reader who follows the outbound link to FxPro leaves this site. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. This site holds no information about what a reader does there.", 'How the site is funded', 'The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is the only funding source. The desk does not sell data, accept payment for coverage, or run advertisements.\n\nA reader should understand that the affiliate relationship does not change the measurements. The commission is paid by the broker, not by the reader, and it does not affect the published numbers.']
